All four series started on Friday.  D’Lesha Lloyd and Timisoara stole a game on the road at Satu Mare 82-71.  Also on that side of the bracket, Kristina Higgins and Brasov beat Arad 73-66.  Adrienne Webb and Sepsi wasted no time by starting with a 96-44 demolition of Alba Iulia.  As might be expected, the 4-5 series started with a close game as Cluj-Napoca edged Alexandria 72-71.  Each series will continue on Tuesday as the teams swap venues and look to either complete the sweep or stave off elimination.
