Adidas has always done a great job marketing it’s athletes. More recently they’ve taken things a step further by including WNBA sponsored athletes in their visual campaigns. In the past, you would always see NBA, NFL, MLB and soccer players in sports commercials but it was rare to see WNBA players getting ad time. Recently we saw LA Spark’s forward Candace Parker featured in the Adidas ‘Unleash Your Creativity’ campaign and now you can see Moriah Jefferson of the WNBA’s San Antonio Stars help introduce the new adidas running AlphaBOUNCE AMS. Other brands should take notice and market their WNBA players as much as they do their male counterparts.

Affectionately called Mo, Moriah Jefferson is in her first season in the WNBA. Drafted second by the San Antonio Stars, Mo completed one of the most incredible college careers of all time. To make a long story short, Moriah Jefferson is one heck of a player and one person that Moriah credits part of her success to is her late coach Coach Jackson, aka Coach Mudd, who she played for with he DFW Elite. Coach Mudd is the father of former WNBA player and breast cancer survivor Tiffany Jackson-Jones.  Follow along as Moriah talks about her passion for basketball and art, what motivates her and why she works as hard as she does. Get to know Mo! Get an inside look of what life is like for the rookie.
