The Atlanta Dream handed the LA Sparks their second consecutive loss last night in Los Angeles. Angel McCoughtry carried her team scoring 32 points and pulling down 11 rebounds. The 24-7 Sparks now find themselves 1.5 games out of first place with four games left to play in the regular season. Since returning from the Olympic break the Sparks have shown some inconsistency with their 3-3 record. The Dream were able to hold onto their 4th position in the standings with their win. At 16-14, the Dream are fighting for their playoff position as teams like the Chicago Sky and Indiana Fever are on their heels. The Sky are 15-14 and are just a half of game behind the Dream. Currently in 6th place, the Fever are 14-15 and are 1.5 games outside of the 4th position. The Fever take on the Sky tonight at home which could shake up playoff positioning for all three teams.
