Nesibe needed a win to extend their season on Friday and Alaina Coates tried to keep them in it, but Fenerbahce completed the sweep with a 100-78 win.  It was Orman’s turn to try to avoid being swept on Saturday and Sevgi Uzun led them in scoring, but Cukurova proved to be too much to handle and they lost 80-51.  Both series ending in sweeps also has the effect of allowing the championship series to start earlier with Fenerbahce hosting on Tuesday.

Both series concluded on Thursday to set up the championship matchup.  Valencia brought home a big lead and quickly expanded it, but Girona did better for the rest of the game and threatened to flip the aggregate to their favor, but a 73-66 win still left them short 127-122.  Avenida had a narrower advantage when play started in Salamanca, but they wasted no time rolling to a 75-39 win to push their aggregate margin to 148-105 over Sedis.

After a scare in the first game, Fenerbahce reverted to their main foreigner lineup on Tuesday and Satou Sabally made sure that there would be no repeat in a 97-62 win over Nesibe.  Orman was much more competitive on Wednesday, but DeWanna Bonner proved to be the Cukurova player that they had no answer for again and they lost 75-68.  The teams get an extra day of rest as they swap venues for the next games so it will be Friday and Saturday when teams look to either sweep or extend their seasons.

The regular season concluded on Saturday with simultaneous night tipoffs.  Charnay built a little bit of momentum for the playdowns with a 74-61 win over Tarbes but they still have a lot of work to do to rescue themselves.  There was plenty at stake as Janee Thompson and Hainaut were looking to sneak into the playoffs and they forced the game into overtime, but Kayla Alexander and Lyon won 76-74 to hold their seed.  Bourges was not handing out favors to trying to manipulate the bracket as they won 80-69 at Lattes Montpellier.  The battle for the second seed lived up to the hype as Regan Magarity and Marine Fauthoux led Landes, but Villeneuve managed to hang to an 85-80 win.  Luisa Geiselsoder and Landerneau avoid having the gap closed on them before the playdowns with a 79-61 win over Oderah Chidom and Angers.  A game that did not have much at stake saw Roche win 93-61 over Amel Bouderra and Charleville.
