There was one final game to determine the last team in the Olympics on Sunday. Belarus put the clamps on South Korea early, not letting their opponents sniff a second win as their shots were not falling. They completed their revenge with the help of naturalized player Lindsey Harding, winning 56-39 to advance.

Belarus joined fellow qualifiers France and Turkey in Group A alongside Asian champions Japan, hosts Brazil, and Oceania champions Australia. In Group B, Spain and China from the qualifiers joined the already assigned teams, Americas champions Canada, the defending world champions, the United States, African champions Senegal, and European champions Serbia.
