Group A:

All games in this group were on Wednesday, starting in Orenburg, where Erica Wheeler and Nadezhda have found their groove, beating Bourges 72-65.  Schio also looks like a new team now with Allie Quigley, visiting USK Praha and beating Valeriane Ayayi and company 80-77.  Ekaterinburg found themselves in a real fight in Polkowice, but kept their perfect record with a 69-64 win behind Brittney Griner and Kayla McBride.  Villeneuve avoided being dragged into the bottom of the group as they won their border battle with Castors Braine 73-61.

Group A:

On Wednesday, USK Praha looked to be cruising at home behind Katerina Elhotova and Alyssa Thomas, but Brionna Jones and Nadezhda stormed back to force two overtimes, escaping 90-86.  It was a similar story in the day’s other game as Polkowice had a lead before Bourges recovered at home with Marine Johannes and Cristina Ouvina leading them to a 76-65 win.  Thursday started with Ekaterinburg maintaining their perfect record with a 100-75 win over Magali Mendy and Villeneuve.  The week ended with Schio picking up their first win 76-48 over new look Castors Braine.
