Quarterfinals:

The format for this round is two games so the lower seeds were trying to build leads when hosting the first games on Tuesday.  San Martino di Lupari kept it close for a half before top seed Schio rolled to an 86-56 win behind Sandrine Gruda.  The game that had the biggest expectation for a home win was even through three quarters and Agnieszka Kaczmarczyk led a Lucca team that was not as strong as it was when establishing itself as a high seed and it was Ragusa that finished strong to win 75-63 and carry a strong lead with them on the road.  Robyn Parks and Campobasso kept it close against Kayla Thornton and Venezia, but could not pick up a win and trail 75-71.  Costa Masnaga had been playing well, but they found themselves getting torched by Bologna’s duo of Ivana Dojkic and Cecilia Zandalasini to lose by the worst margin 96-60.  Each series will conclude on Friday.

Playout:

Only one series was able to start as scheduled on Tuesday as Moncalieri was looking for the early win on the road with the teams winning these series staying safe.  Sassari had been preparing for the return of Jessica Shepard though and she dominated the paint in their 84-67 win.  The other game was played on Wednesday once traffic issues cleared up and allowed Broni to travel to Faenza, but a good game from Janae Smith was not enough for the visitors in a 70-63 loss.  The two visiting teams will be looking to sweep on Saturday to end their seasons with wins while the two hosts will need wins to avoid immediately being dumped into the series for survival.
