A Round 17 game was made up last Wednesday with Nirra Fields and Izmit looking for a win to get some distance between them and the danger zone, but falling to Victoria Macaulay and Bursa 78-74. Weather throughout the country prevented the games from this round from being played over the weekend so as many games as possible were played on Wednesday instead. Teaira McCowan led Orman to an 88-81 win in the first game of the day despite good games from Alexis Prince and Elina Babkina for Cankaya University. Antalya had been dropping into perilous position, but they have managed to strengthen their roster and, despite their former player Jazmine Jones helping Hatay force overtime, they won 71-67. Victoria Macaulay led Bursa again, but Fenerbahce rolled to a 94-62 win. A game from Round 19 had already been scheduled to be made up and it was played with Jelena Dubljevic leading Botas past Nirra Fields and Izmit 88-75. Elazig’s hopes for a miracle escape took a big hit as they fell to Kayseri 81-73 despite a good game from Chanel Mokango.
