The last game from Round 12 was played Tuesday with Sparkle Taylor leading Satu Mare again and getting some help from Miljana Dzombeta in a 74-62 win. Sparkle Taylor led Satu Mare again on Wednesday, this time in an 83-44 Round 17 win over Brasov. Ruth Sherrill paced Targu Mures in a 74-58 Round 14 win over Ancuta Stoenescu and Targoviste. This round started on Friday with Biljana Pesovic leading Brasov past Agronomia 78-59. Only three of the four games scheduled for Saturday could be played with Constanta’s 63-53 win over Alexandria opening the day. Two teams with aspirations to crash the championship party met in a Round 20 game and it was Sparkle Taylor and Dora Ardelean that led Satu Mare to an 83-71 win over Arad. Gabriela Irimia and Targoviste kept it surprisingly close against Sepsi, but lost 76-68. Satu Mare played again on Sunday in a Round 25 game with Sparkle Taylor and Katarina Vuckovic pacing them in a 95-71 win over Jaiamoni Welch-Coleman and Targu Secuiesc.
