Games from both the Round of 16 and Round of 8 were played this weekend as scheduling continues to be an issue. With very tight windows to schedule games in due to other obligations, 21 seed Lublin played their Round of 16 games on consecutive days in France instead of hosting one game. 5 seed Villeneuve led by big margins for some of the game and still won, but Kamiah Smalls did help cut it to 83-73. The result was expected to be the same when the teams met again on Wednesday, but Martina Fassina and Lublin had other ideas, controlling the entire game for an 85-59 win and flipping the aggregate to their favor 158-142. On Thursday, 6 seed Prometey had to wait a week for their home game in a Round of 16 series as they had a narrow lead, but Ariel Atkins helped them expand it quickly on their win way to a 79-56 win over 11 seed Braine for a 172-148 final margin. Postponements in other series meant that the last game of the week was the first Round of 8 series to start as Marie Gulich and 2 seed Valencia had a strong first half in an 8-7 win over Stephanie Mavunga and 10 seed Polkowice.
