Spanish League Round 7 October 30th-November 5th

The last full round before the international break started on Saturday in Ferrol with a 66-44 Avenida win.  Araski beat Tenerife 62-53 and Bembibre got their first win 60-54 over Sedis.  Sunday’s games started with Zaragoza edging Gernika 58-57.  Laura Cornelius and Gipuzkoa left Lugo with an 84-70 win over Ensino.  Valencia beat Estudiantes 70-52.  Paula Estebas led Promete past Leganes 78-67.  Girona needed a late comeback to get past Gran Canaria 64-60.  The last game from Round 3 was moved to Friday with the last two undefeated times trying to get the psychological edge for the next portion of the season.  Rebecca Allen and Valencia were hosting as the game was tied heading into the last quarter where Avenida had the better of proceedings to win 75-67.
