The 4-5 series was the only one expected to be close and the first game was quite tense as Estudiantes managed to grind out a 47-42 win over Gernika. Avenida beat Gran Canaria 80-61. Over on Tenerife, Adaora Elonu and Girona left with a 79-45 win over Clarinos. The other series started on Thursday in Lugo with Valencia beating Ensino 69-58.
