Szekszard was the site of this year’s Final Four with a single-site format replacing the travel of the previous two-game series format. The semifinals were played on Friday with the hosts up first against top seed Reyer. The game was close throughout, but a late rally helped the top seed avoid an upset and advance 63-58. Valencia blasted out of the gates with Raquel Carrera making her WNBA draft stock rise a little higher. Carolo fought back in the second half to make it respectable, but the outcome was never in any real doubt as the 3 seed advanced
