Continental schedules prevented this round from being all simultaneous tipoffs as has been the case in the past, but Saturday’s games started in Caceres with the hosts beating Promete 75-69. Gran Canaria edged Sedis 74-71. Gernika will have a busy week after returning from continental play as they have the most games to make up, but it started with an easy 87-47 win over Zaragoza. Clarinos beat Gipuzkoa 76-71. Valencia had the quickest transition back from other competition and beat Estudiantes 85-68. Ensino left Basque Country with a 67-65 win over Araski. On Sunday, Paola Ferrari and Frida Eldebrink showed Girona’s frustration with their elimination from continental play early as they rolled past Victoria Vivians and Zamarat 109-71. On Monday, Avenida beat Bembibre 76-45. Valencia was not at their best for a while in Lugo, but eventually beat Ensino 77-52 in a Round 23 game.
