Izmit was in the middle of their continental adventure so their game was not played, but the rest of the teams played a midweek round with a busy Wednesday. Riquna Williams led Orman past Kayseri 87-63. Botas rolled past Oyku Taskin and Adana 85-57. Fenerbahce stayed perfect with a 72-48 win over Elazig. It was tough matchups for Stephanie Madden and Samsun again as they lost to Nesibe 108-55. An Istanbul rivalry game went to Galatasaray 83-65 over Besiktas. Thursday’s game deserved to stand on its own as it ended up being a rather wild double-overtime thriller with 5 players playing all 50 minutes. Hatay was at home and big games from Astou Ndour and Hind Ben Abdelkader along with a triple-double from Alexis Prince helped them prevail 109-108. Cankaya University, which only played its bench for a total of 5:26, wasted a fantastic game from Tan White in falling short.
