On Wednesday, Sandrine Gruda and Schio crushed Lucca 107-53 in a game from Round 8. On Thursday, winless Battipaglia managed to hang around for a quarter or so in a Round 12 game before Temi Fagbenle, Natasha Howard, and Martina Bestagno helped undefeated Venezia roll 116-57. A full round was scheduled for the weekend, starting with Egle Sulciute leading San Martino di Lupari past Sassari on Saturday. Gintare Petronyte and Venezia stayed perfect with a 98-72 win over Costa Masnaga. One game could not be played on Sunday, but the first game of the day was excellent as Ty Marshall and Ragusa edged Abby Bishop and Bologna 86-82. Battipaglia kept it respectable for a half, but Schio pulled away for a 93-55 win. Jazmon Gwathmey paced Sesto San Giovanni in a 79-70 win over Jewel Tunstull and Lucca. Sam Ostarello led Campobasso past Vigarano 76-59 as Erica Sanchez played her first game since turning 45.
