Thursday started with a monumental upset as Taiwan Power kept it close in the first half and then exploded out of the break to best Pan Tzu-Yin and Chunghwa Telecom 78-61. Lin Yu-Ting and Cathay Life Insurance made sure that there would be no other surprises as they nearly doubled up Taiyuan Textile in a 114-58 win.

Chunghwa Telecom was wary of being upset again and started well, but still ended up sweating it out late before beating Taiwan Power 66-61.
