Basketball leagues around the world are in limbo at this time, but play did start in Taiwan this week. The Women’s Super Basketball League has four corporate-sponsored teams and their regular season will have a fifteen game season with games played at a neutral site with no fans. Starting later this year might have created the opportunity to bring in some of the best national team players who usually play on the mainland while their home league is playing, but that did not end up being the case. Eleven Sports Taiwan is planning on streaming games, which are usually played on Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday at 5pm and 7pm local time or 5am and 7am Eastern Daylight Time, via their YouTube channel.
