The Cup started on Tuesday in Adana with Fenerbahce beating Kennedy Burke and Kayseri 73-61. Kia Vaughn had a good game for Elazig, but Aija Putnina, Tan White, and Derik Yaya got Cankaya University the 91-77 win. The other two quarterfinals were played on Wednesday, starting with Courtney Williams and Kristine Anigwe leading Izmit past Galatasaray 81-66. Bahar Caglar and Besiktas were able to surprise a slumping Orman side 74-68 despite the best efforts of Pelin Bilgic. The first semifinal on Thursday saw Fenerbahce beat Cankaya University 73-65. Kristine Anigwe and Courtney Williams formed a strong inside-outside combination again for Izmit in an 84-71 win over Katsiaryna Snytsina and Besiktas. The teams got a day off before the final on Saturday. Alina Iagupova returned to the lineup for Fenerbahce and helped them past Courtney Williams and Izmit to win the trophy 77-61.
