The last round of the regular season started with a couple of meaningless games on Thursday.  Brittany Smart and Sydney used a strong fourth quarter to beat Bendigo 78-68.  Adelaide continued preparation for the postseason with a 75-74 win over Perth, but lost one of their key players to injury.  All teams were in action on Saturday, but the big game was the first one as Kia Nurse took the scoring title and Canberra secured home court advantage to start the postseason with a 73-71 win over Adelaide.  Carley Ernst and Tessa Lavey helped Bendigo beat Christina Boag and Townsville 89-69, but they still ended the season in last place.  Cayla George and Melbourne looked impressive in a 104-75 win over Ariel Atkins and Perth even though they knew that they could not improve their place in the standings.  Southside finished an impressive regular season with a 78-61 win over Jessica Kuster and Sydney.  Players on eliminated teams are now free to move on while the playoff will start after the international break.
