On Friday, Canberra was happy to be able to get away from their home gym, but good games from Marianna Tolo and Keely Froling were not enough in a 94-90 loss to Bendigo, which was paced by young Shyla Heal. Adelaide used a balanced effort to beat Darcee Garbin and Townsville 87-61. Perth knew that they would only have one game this weekend, but a good game from Katie-Rae Ebzery was not enough as they fell to Bec Cole and Southside 90-75. That left only two games on Sunday. Nicole Seekamp racked up an impressive number assists dishing off to Brianna Turner, Lauren Nicholson, and Kathryn Westbeld as Adelaide beat Mercedes Russell and Southside 104-93. Sydney fell even further away from the top half even though Lauren Scherf had a good game as they lost to Melbourne 86-63.
