The Round of 16 is a misnomer as the EuroLeague teams are given a bye, leaving ten teams to compete.  Mondeville were looking to show that they belonged back in the top division on Thursday, but fell to Landerneau 67-48.  Landes beat Charnay 71-47 in a battle of top division foes.  Tarbes prevailed 86-82 over Nantes in an overtime thriller.  Toulouse ensured that there will be second division representation in the next round, beating Keisha Hampton and Villeneuve 71-67.  Caroline Heriaud helped Roche come back and beat Charleville 80-79.
