Another full round of games was played on Thursday as the rules changes ended up having a massive effect in a number of games.  Amanda Zahui B led Shandong, but the twin towers of Kalani Brown and Han Xu helped Xinjiang overcome guard turnover issues to win 80-75, benefiting from their advantage.  Beijing stayed perfect with an 85-59 win over Hubei.  Jelena Dubljevic and Shanghai finally picked up their first win 68-64 over Fujian and Kelsey Bone was fantastic, but did not get enough help as the rules limited her time.  Bayi suffered as a result of the rules change for the first time facing Jiangsu, which gave up a player for 3×3 national team training, allowing them to field their foreign player for the whole game against the military club as they, Xinjiang, Shanghai, Henan, and Beijing will also only have to face foreign players on the other 12 teams for three quarters.  Jin Jiabao led Bayi, but Tina Charles being able to play the extra minutes prevented the visitors from coming back and they fell 80-73.  Zhejiang won their first game 107-70 as they did not face a positional mismatch in foreign players with Natasha Cloud posting a triple-double and Dong Keer and Huang Jiali giving them extra scoring punch.  Theresa Plaisance and Shaanxi are still looking for their first win after falling to perfect Guangdong 104-76.  An entertaining game between teams looking to challenge the top teams this season saw Natasha Howard lead Inner Mongolia past Cheyenne Parker, Fang Zhuoya, and Sichuan 96-90.  Stefanie Dolson and Hebei had an easy time beating Henan 86-57.  Liz Cambage continues to be quite efficient and not need to play too many minutes as Shanxi stayed perfect and kept Zou Qijia and Heilongjiang winless 108-64
