Africa Champions Cup Quarterfinals December 11th

The knockout round games started on Tuesday.  Defending champions Ferroviario played their quarterfinal first, beating Energie 104-40 with a strong first game for their other reinforcement Pauline Akonga.  On the other side of the bracket, Astou Traore led Inter past Force Armee et Police 81-43.  Asrar Bakr and Shawnta Dyer helped Sporting dominate the second half to beat INSS 86-42.  The hosts ended the day with a 78-62 win over MFM Queens.  Al Ahly will now face Inter in one semifinal on Friday while their rivals from Alexandria will face Ferroviario.
