Romanian League and Cup November 2nd-10th

East Group:

Round 6 games were played last Saturday.  Targoviste beat Vladinka Erak and Constanta, but Donasja Scott did make her professional debut.  Sepsi had no trouble beating Alexandria 114-49.  Nikolina Zubac and Brasov beat Agronomia 80-70.  The last game from Round 1 was played on Thursday with Alexandria beating Targoviste 78-66.

West Group:

Round 4 in this group was spread out over a number of days.  Last Saturday, Satu Mare beat Targu Mures 104-48.  Monday’s game was a close one, but Mariah King helped Cluj-Napoca leave Arad with a 64-62 win.  On Sunday, Kayla Mobley and Jade Vega nearly outscored Oradea between them as Targu Secuiesc won 55-42.

Cup:

One cup matchup was finished on Sunday.  Sirius won 56-49 in Targu Mures, but Agronoia’s lead from the first game held to give them the 109-101 aggregate advantage.
