The round started last Saturday with Ginette Mfutila and Poznan beating Emilia Tlumak and Torun 83-79. The two Gdansk universities faced off and it was Presley Hudson who led the University of Technology to a 74-58 win. On Sunday, Gdynia beat Lublin 66-54. Kahleah Copper led Gorzow, but Britney Jones and Sleza Wroclaw left with a 71-63 win. Laura Miskiniene paced Bydgoszcz in an 81-74 win over Katarina Vuckovic, Ewelina Gala, and Widzew Lodz. It used to be one of the big games of the season, but Polkowice eased to a 75-46 win over Wisla Krakow this time. The last game from Round 1 was made up on Thursday as Krystal Vaughn and Wisla Krakow edged Sleza Wroclaw 71-69. A game from Round 7 was brought forward before the international break and Gdynia won at Politechnika Gdanska 85-52.
