Group A:

The two teams with the most history in the competition met in a full slate of Wednesday games having completely different situations.  TTT Riga brought in Marina Mabrey over the break and handed her an overseas debut as she and Binta Drammeh got the team their first win, an unthinkable 89-81 triumph over Ekaterinburg.  Cristina Ouvina led USK Praha past Yvonne Turner and Nadezhda.  Braine dominated the final quarter to beat Reyer Venezia 75-58.  Bourges beat Cukurova 92-62.

A busy Wednesday of games started with Fenerbahce jetting out of the gates on their way to a 58-43 win over Schio.  Stephanie Mavunga and Lattes Montpellier won their all-France battle with Lyon 80-73.  Brittney Sykes and Girona ended the day with a 79-61 win over Dynamo Kursk.  The lone Thursday game saw Marie Gulich and Gdynia escape Sopron with a 61-59 win as this group is still wide open.
