In a fairly unprecedented domination, Sepsi nearly hit the century mark in the first half and held a Constanta team only fielding teenagers to 4 first half points on their way to a 178-31 win paced by Nora Demeter and Chrissy Givens. Targoviste started their season on Wednesday and Gabriela Irimia led them past Agronomia 73-47. Constanta finally had a stronger team available to them, giving professional debuts to Boogie Brozoski and Drazana Vulic in a 69-58 loss to Mihaela Mihai and Alexandria. Andra Mandache and Sepsi won again, this time beating Rapid 90-54.
