The season started on Friday in Lublin as the hosts had the better start, but Bydgoszcz left with a 78-62 win. The University of Gdansk was welcomed as the new team in the league on Saturday, but lost to Kahleah Copper and Gorzow 101-65 as Cheridene Green also made her professional debut and Chloe Jackson played her first overseas game. After plenty of drama, Torun did take the court for the opener, but lost to Rebecca Allen and Gdynia 77-50. Sunday’s first game went to two overtimes before the Gdansk University of Technology overcame Lea Miletic and Poznan 102-91 as Presley Hudson made her professional debut for the hosts while KeKe Calloway did the same for the visitors. The day ended with Artemis Spanou and Polkowice beating Katerina Vuckovic and Widzew Lodz 79-57 to start their title defense.
