Semifinals:
The first semifinal was a rematch of the last final and Australia had revenge on their mind early, but Nako Motohashi helped Japan get the same result, advancing with a 76-64 win. China took care of business in the other game, beating South Korea 80-52. The groups were also drawn for the Olympic Qualifying tournaments. Due to the lack of a Division B tournament, India was given the last spot. They were drawn into Group B with Japan, Australia, and Taiwan. Group A will consist of South Korea, New Zealand, the Philippines, and China.
