7th Place:
The day started with the game for 7th place as Argentina finished a disappointing tournament with a 67-65 loss to the Dominican Republic after finishing as runners up and getting close to the title last time. They did learn that they and Canada will be hosting the two tournaments in the Americas for the next stage of Olympic qualifying.

Semifinals:
That set the stage for the semifinals and the first one was a good game throughout. Canada got an unexpected boost from Shay Colley that made the difference in a 66-58 win over Brazil. Puerto Rico dialed up the chaos early, but the United States settled down on their way to a 78-54 win.
