The last set of games was spread over two days.  Saturday started with Egypt playing for the fifth day in a row, leaving with a 62-58 win over the Ivory Coast in the 7th place game.  The Democratic Republic of Congo also played for the fifth day in a row, running out of steam in the 5th place game and losing 68-48.  Sunday started with the battle for the last medal with Meiya Tirera and Mali beating Leia Dongue and Mozambique 66-54.  After that it was time for the highly-anticipated rematch for the final game as Senegal gave the loud home crowd something to cheer about several times, but Nigeria held their nerve after losing several leads and escaped with a 60-55 win and a successful defense of their crown.  Also on Sunday, the draw was conducted for the next stage of Olympic qualifying.  Teams will play two games against the other teams in the group with the last place teams getting eliminated.  Crossover semifinals will be played by the remaining four teams for the two spots in the last qualifying tournaments.  Group A will consist of Nigeria, Mozambique, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.  Group B has Senegal, Mali, and Angola.
