The first series concluded on Tuesday with Satu Mare completing the sweep in Cluj with a 74-53 win. On Friday, Kristina Higgins nearly matched Oradea’s scoring herself and Anca Sipos also had a good game as Sepsi finished a decisive sweep with a 116-28 win. Arad also took care of business, ended their series with Targoviste with a 64-51 win. The series that could not end in a sweep continued on Sunday. Constanta was looking to finish off the upset at home, taking an early lead, but Brasov fought back to win 65-56 and take a series lead. They will play again in Constanta on Tuesday with Phoenix looking to extend the series while Olimpia tries to win without needing a deciding game at home.
