The EuroLeague teams finally entered the competition at this stage and the first quarterfinal was played on Saturday. Chartres was the last lower division team left and they had the tough draw against Bourges and the visitors used the opportunity to let the talented teenager Iliana Rupert shine in a 104-45 win. There was extra basketball on Sunday as Haley Peters and Charleville finally prevailed 99-89 over Bernadette Ngoyisa and Roche. Young Zoe Wadoux had a good game for Villeneuve, but Lyon won 82-62.
