After a long break for the holidays and cup play, a full round of games was played on Sunday, including Hannover’s 72-57 win over Donau-Ries. Kristen Gaffney and Kelly Moten teamed up to lead Freiburg past Keltern 88-73. Herner sits in the lead right now after a 62-54 win over Cori Coleman and Gottingen. More teams have challenged Wasserburg this season and the latest example was Saarlouis, which is battling the drop, still managing to win 63-62. That result combined with Chemnitz winning 90-69 behind Jasmine Smith and Maya Hood left Braunschweig alone at the bottom.
