Both series continued on Thursday with sweeps on the line. Adelaide took care of business in the second half at home to complete their sweep 100-92 behind Nia Coffey, Lauren Nicholson, and Kayla Alexander as Melbourne was eliminated despite big games from Lindsay Allen and Cayla George. Perth pushed to extend their season early, but Kia Nurse helped Canberra leave with a 91-75 win. They will now host the first game of the finals next Saturday with Adelaide hosting the second game on the following Wednesday, with a deciding game on the subsequent Saturday if necessary.
