Saturday started with Gipuzkoa beating Ariel Edwards and their Basque Country rivals Araski 64-50. Avenida remained undefeated with a 71-52 win at Bembibre. Gernika kept pace behind Blake Dietrick, but it was a struggle overcoming Chatilla Van Grinsven and winless Ferrol 80-74 in overtime. The traditional early Sunday game in Zaragoza had Brittany Brown leading the hosts past Zamarat 64-50. Aina Ayuso had a big game for Sant Adria, but their struggles continued with a 59-50 loss to Sedis. Roso Buch and Girona beat Ensino 72-49. It was a different story for the other promoted team as Valencia continued their strong start with Meiya Tirera leading them past Al-Qazeres 66-60.
