Spanish League Round 12 December 27th-28th

A set of weekday games was played, starting on Thursday in Caceres with Paola Ferrari leading the hosts to a 71-65 win over Ariel Edwards and Araski.  The Basque Country rivals played a thriller with hosts Gipuzkoa upsetting Gernika 65-64.  The day ended with Sedis beating Zamarat 70-57.  On Friday, Avenida beat Zaragoza 73-52.  In a result that could make a difference at the end of the season Sant Adria moved into a safe position and left Shelby Cheslek and Ferrol stranded at the bottom 68-64.  The two promoted teams faced off and Maria Pina and Valencia emerged victorious 72-56 over Ensino.  Shay Murphy and Girona stayed atop the standings and pushed Bembibre into danger 89-41.
