The round started on Friday with Zhosselina Maiga leading Nadezhda past Spartak Noginsk 81-57. On Sunday, MBA went all the way out to Novosibirsk and won 82-61. Anna Pachurin and Inventa Kursk eased to an 84-57 win over Spartak Moscow. The most anticipated game ended the day as we got our first indication of how the league powerhouses might juggle their lineups in the finals.
