Group A:

Wednesday’s games started in Ekaterinburg, where the hosts rolled past USK Praha 87-59 in a battle of unbeatens.  Scoring was at a premium in France as Polkowice escaped Villeneuve 48-45.  Nadezhda rotated non-European players in their search for a first win and it paid off as Erica Wheeler helped Brionna Jones complete a late comeback to win 71-69.  On Thursday, Bourges used a fast start to keep Schio winless 66-55.
