Group A:

This is probably the most wide open group and only Iceland is out of the picture as Helena Sverrisdottir led the way in Reykjavik, but Slovakia left with an 82-52 win.  Glory Johnson had a big game from the naturalized player position for Montenegro, but Bosnia and Herzegovina took care of business in Sarajevo to win 83-68.

The day of games started in this group as Viktoriya Hasper and Belarus beat Estonia 113-63 in Tallinn to improve their chances to qualify with Anastasia Verameyenka contributing a triple-double.  Turkey did officially qualify by beating Poland 68-49 in Bydgoszcz.

Hungary stayed in contention by using the trio of Bernadett Hatar, Zsofia Fegyverneky, and Krisztina Raksanyi to beat Albania 139-27 in Tirana.  Lithuania had also been eliminated, but Kamile Nacickaite and company did not want to just hand the spot to their rivals as Maria Vadeeva and Russia fought back late to win 79-77 in Kedainiai and qualify.

Sofia Silva and Portugal picked up their first win 75-72 in Matosinhos, stunning Shay Doron and Israel as they hoped to keep themselves in the running.  Johannah Leedham and Great Britain looked to be rolling in Manchester, but her club teammate Styliani Kaltsidou and Greece fought back in the second half to only lose 79-7, preventing the hosts from officially qualifying.
