A busy Saturday started with Steph Talbot leading Melbourne to a 101-75 win as Sttephanie Reid made her national league debut with Dandenong. Bendigo beat Adelaide 70-52. A good game took overtime to decide as Brittany McPhee and Perth beat Suzy Batkovic and Townsville 79-71. Ther was one game on Sunday as the university-sponsored teams battled and Canberra beat Sydney 84-79. A special Monday game ended the round as Nat Hurst and Bendigo escaped Steph Talbot and Melbourne 60-58.
