A couple of games were played on Saturday as Schio beat Vigarano 84-59. It was much closer in the other game as Chantelle Handy and Antiesha Brown helped Battipaglia weather a big game from Kahlia Larence to beat Torino 79-71. On Sunday, Empoli was looking at a historic win at home at halftime, but Napoli’s duo of Isabelle Harrison and Courtney Williams helped them come back and win 76-71. Kourtney Treffers had an excellent game for Lucca, but Caterina Dotto and Ty Marshall got San Martino di Lupari the 83-69 win. Kalis Loyd and Sesto Giovanni came up just short at Broni 64-57. The last game was moved to Tuesday so that Venezia could play their qualifying games and they bounced back by fending off Dearica Hamby and Ragusa 75-72 with Marie Gulich leading the way.
