Turkish League Round 25 April 7th-8th

With only one set of regular season games after this weekend, games were filled with implications in all parts of the standings.  Courtney Williams and Adana Aski entered the day with the possibility of securing safety and they fought back to force overtime, but Kayla McBride and Yakin Dogu University prevailed 83-76.  Orman has made it an interesting chase for the playoffs after beating Abdullah Gul University 69-67.  Hatay kept pace with a 73-60 win over Besiktas to set up a regular season finale that will determine the top seed.  Claudia Pop and Istanbul University took advantage of Botas being shorthanded to win 74-66, allowing them to jump back up to a safe spot and making the final day of games even more interesting.  On Sunday, Mersin eased past Smasun 102-62 as the visitors were content to just end their season.  The big rivalry game went to Anastasiya Vermeyenka and Fenerbahce 75-68.  That sets up a massive set of games in the span of a week for Galatasaray, which was led by Jelena Dubljevic and Allie Quigley.
