The playoffs started with one series on Saturday.  Lindsay Sherbert and Bad Aibling beat Katie Yohn and Marburg 81-73.  On Sunday, top-seeded Keltern beat Chemnitz 84-51 as the league has to deal with the unfamiliar possibility that there may actually be a different champion this season.  On Monday, Wasserburg beat Hannover 65-55 behind Monique Reid as they will still be considered the favorites for now.  Herner edged Donau-Ries 60-55.  All series will swap venues for the next game on Friday as the lower seeds face elimination.
