The round started with more drama as Bornova failed to show up for their game against Adana Aski. Alina Iagupova and Cukurova beat Samsun, which is in freefall, but still well above the fray, 68-60. Galatasaray continued their push towards the last playoff place with a 72-67 win over Hatay. That left the door open for Fenerbahce to move back into second place, which they did as Kia Vaughn helped them get a fast start to beat Yakin Dogu University 66-65 to give the rest of the league something to think about for the rest of the season.
