Most of the games in the second to last round of the regular season were played with simultaneous tipoffs on Saturday.  Paola Ferrari fired Zaragoza past Estudiantes 84-56.  Zamarat would have needed an impressive result to secure safety, but could not do so in a 78-52 loss to Girona.  Alexis Prince and Ferrol won 64-56 at Sant Adria.  Sedis used a fast start to beat Araski 80-61.  Al-Qazeres kept the game close early, but Gernika rolled to an 85-54 win.  Promete got the result they needed to stay alive for a final day miracle as they beat Lyndra Weaver and Gipuzkoa 81-57.  Erika De Souza and Avenida beat Brittany Brown and Bembibre 85-59 on Sunday as they will have an impact on the bottom of the standings next week even though they have secured the top seed.
