Russian League Round 22 March 20th-25th

The final week of games started on Tuesday.  Helena Ciak and Dynamo Kursk had their eye on the big weekend game, beating Spartak Noginsk 84-55 in the first versus worst game.  The most anticipated game was on Saturday, but Alba Torrens and UMMC took all of the suspense out of it as they rolled past Dynamo Kursk 102-62 in Ekaterinburg.  Sunday’s games started in Orenburg with Nadezhda beating Inventa Kursk 72-61.  Ivana Dojkic and Spartak Moscow took the fifth spot with a 71-64 win over Abby Bishop and Dynamo Novosibirsk.  Alexandra Stolyar and Kazanochka beat Karina Nizamova and MBA Moscow 73-67 to climb above them in the standings.  Spartak Noginsk got their first win behind Ekaterina Kubynina and Milana Sumets, humiliating Dynamo Moscow 79-65.
