Quarterfinals:
The first game of each best of five quarterfinals series was played on Wednesday. The most anticipated matchup was probably the one between the rivals as Brno won 61-53 on the road to show their neighbors that they did not have full claim on being the team of the city yet. USK Praha won big as expected with Alena Hanusova and Marija Rezan leading them past Karlovy Vary 101-65. Stephanie Madden had another good game for Slavia Praha, but Andrea Ovsikova and Hradec Kralove won 81-62. Nymburk edged Slovanka 70-66 to keep homecourt advantage. The series format is 1-1-1-1-1 so the teams will swap venues for the next game.
