The Final 8 of the Cup was played in Sfantu Gheorghe. Games started on Thursday with D’Lesha Lloyd and Timisoara beating Brasov 71-62. Hosts Sepsi then beat Cluj-Napoca 78-52 behind Ty Marshall. The other two quarterfinals were played on Friday, starting with Arad’s 61-55 win over Alexandria. Ashley Morrissette had a good game for Alba Iulia, which was put back in the competition after Galati beat them in the last round and then folded, but Satu Mare won 69-59. Both semifinals were on Saturday. D’Lesha Lloyd led Timisoara again, but Adrienne Webb helped Sepsi get the 79-62 win. Satu Mare then beat Arad 91-62. On Sunday, Satu Mare tried to finish the harder path of three wins in three days, but Ty Marshall and Sepsi were too much to handle and the hosts won 62-48.
